On Wednesday the whole family went and ate dinner at Tyra's in Douglastown. I think it might technically be called Tyra's Seafood and Dairy Bar, but I'm not sure. It's really nice inside. The walls and the ceiling are painted like you are in the ocean. They have awesome bathrooms too. Just one toilet each, but everything is so nice and new. Their paper towel dispensers are on a censor, which I thought was pretty cool.

Their kids meals are six bucks (taxes included) and it includes a drink and an ice-cream cone. Their portions are not huge by any means, but do we really need such huge portions anyway? Seriously. Food was good. Would probably go back, but maybe not with the kids, as we can still eat a little cheaper at McD's. :)

My character in the play that I am going to be in, is supposed to wear a skirt. So what better excuse to order one? I ordered two online from Sears, and picked them up yesterday. I can't seem to decide which one to keep. One is probably better for the purpose of the play.... while the other one seems nicer for real life. Jason says I should just keep both. Considering they were only $9.99 each, I might just. Regardless...that's a check mark for # 98 on my list!

# 82

Saturday night, July 1st, 2006, Liane threw herself a birthday party. The kids were up at Jason's parents house for a sleepover. So, since I don't do it very often, I thought I would have a drink. This gave me a chance to cross off number 82 on my list - "Try a new alcoholic beverage". I really didn't know what to choose, there are so many new coolers, etc.... out there. I opted for Bacardi's Caribbean Key Lime. It was really good! Who knew I liked rum drinks? I think I might buy these for the weekend over at Preston and Karen's.
